Mack Trucks and Volvo Trucks North America are now offering the option to purchase pre-paid preventive-maintenance plans.

Mack and Volvo offer pre-paid preventive-maintenanceThe Mack plans are available for all model-year 2011 and newer trucks powered by Mack MP7, MP8, or MP10 engines; the Volvo plans cover all model years 2011 and newer with Volvo D11, D13, or D16 engines.

Known as the Mack Premium Maintenance Plans and the Volvo Premium Maintenance Plans respectively, they’re pre-paid contracts, offering a variety of coverage. No matter what application – normal duty, heavy haul, or severe duty – there’s a plan that covers it, says Mack.

Three different options are available, with a range of service from basic oil changes and 74-point inspections to more in-depth maintenance, including service for the exhaust aftertreatment system, transmission, and chassis.

Customers can lock in today’s parts and labor rates and choose the plan’s duration as well.

Those buying a Mack plan can schedule maintenance by contacting Mack OneCall, the company’s 24/7 service and support network. Maintenance can be scheduled and performed at any of the 460-plus Mack dealerships in the U.S. and Canada.

The Volvo Premium Maintenance Plan works similarly, truck operators being able to schedule maintenance at any Volvo dealership in the U.S. and Canada through Volvo Action Service, the company’s 24-hour support organization.
