Quebec Carrier Opens Specialized Trucking Division

Salaberry-de-Valleyfield, QC — Less-than-truckload and truckload carrier Andy Transport announced the opening of a new specialized division for heavy or oversize shipments.

“Our decision was driven by our desire to better serve our customers and to answer their needs. For us, this translates in the hauling of heavy and oversized freight ranging from construction materials to heavy machinery,” says Andreea Crisan, Andy Transport’s general manager.

The Quebec-based carrier now has four-axle flatbeds and four-axle dry vans and has a contract-based established clientele for dedicated destinations.

“Through the new division we will also look to expand the service offered to our existing customers and complement our existing General Freight – Dry Van division,” Crisan says. “The growth of our company and the diversification of our services will help foster a collaborative environment for our teams and provide career advancement opportunities within our company.”

The new division will only serve Canada for the moment and will focus on the Quebec-Ontario corridor.
