SASKATOON, SK – Gary Redhead, president and CEO of Redhead Equipment, recently presented a $1 million cheque to Brynn Boback-Lane, president and CEO of the Children’s Hospital Foundation of Saskatchewan.
Redhead highlighted the hard work and loyalty of their customers that has allowed the business to successfully grow over the last 64 years. “The operation and support of a Children’s Hospital in our province will benefit all of us," Redhead said, "and I am honoured to offer this donation to the Children’s Hospital Foundation on behalf of Laura and myself and more importantly, all of the employees of Redhead Equipment.”
The Children’s Hospital Foundation of Saskatchewan has been running a campaign asking for support from the community, titled Be a Part of It. The campaign, said Grant Kook, Capital Campaign co-chair and chairman of the board, is about community leaders and companies "stepping forward to inspire others to be a part of the vision of this very important facility that will impact all families across Saskatchewan.
"This generous donation from Redhead Equipment keeps the momentum going and the message that it matters," Kook noted. "The management and staff should be proud of the leadership their company has displayed today and what their own hard work has achieved for children in the Province."
Jackie Mann, vice president Integrated Health Services for Saskatoon Health Region, added that the contribution "will assist staff and physicians in providing excellent care for mothers and children in a hospital that is focused and designed to keep them at the centre of all we do."
