Safest Tiedown Device?

The patented Boa Winch uses a worm gear in a “revolutionary” mechanism that’s claimed to reduce considerably the effort required to tie down a load securely.

Because it allows equal tension and greater precision on all straps, regardless of the load, securing a load is said to be much faster.

Thanks to the use of a 10-inch ratchet handle rather than a 34-inch winch bar, the system allows loads to be secured to the desired tension on the strap by applying a uniform force on the handle, which is impossible with traditional winches.

Users can “effortlessly” achieve much greater tension on straps than is possible with traditional systems. The short quick-rewind handle is said to eliminate the risk of accidents related to strap kickback or winch bar accidents.

It replaces all comparable tie-down systems.

With the Boa Winch tension can be adapted to all types of loads on trucks, trains, and other means of transporting cargo, but it’s especially useful for low loads and limited spaces. It’s versatile and can be used with straps, chains, or steel cables on all types of trailers.

It’s said to be easy to maintain with an overflow system for lubrication.
