Shell Starts Commercial Fleet Card Program

NASHVILLE, TN — Shell Canada is introducing a commercial fleet card program in partnership with Electronic Funds Source LLC (EFS), which will allow Canadian fleets to define their own fuel networks from any fuel station where MasterCard is accepted.

“Our leading acceptance footprint in Canada means convenience and consistency when it comes to fueling. We’re thrilled to work with EFS to bring such an innovative product to Canadian fleets,” said Betty DeVita, president of MasterCard Canada.

Participating fleets will be able to use the Shell Fleet Navigator at more than 1,200 Shell-branded retail locations in Canada and some 800,000 Canadian locations that accept MasterCard. Shell’s card program allows Canadian fleets to define their own fuel networks from any Shell or non-Shell fuel station in Canada so they can better manage routes and gain efficiencies while also controlling fueling costs.

“We are honored to partner with Shell and MasterCard on this exciting new commercial card program and look forward to mutually developing unique solutions that will transform payments,” said Scott Phillips, president and CEO of EFS.

EFS focuses on customized payment solutions designed to help our customers drive efficiencies and improve bottom line performance.
