Teamsters Attract FedEx Warehouse Workers

VANCOUVER– Fourteen warehouse employees at FedEx Freight Canada’s Surrey, British Columbia location have chosen to be represented by the Teamsters Union.

The organizing campaign launched last June came to an end in September with the issue of a bargaining certificate by the Canada Industrial Relations Board.

According to a statement issued by the Teamsters, before this certification the only unionized FedEx employees were the company’s U.S.-based pilots.
