Trailer Wizards Goes into “Overdrive” for Trucking Charity

MISSISSAUGA, ON – One of Canada’s leading trailer rental and leasing companies, Trailer Wizards, is expanding its partnership with the trucking industry non-profit Trucks For Change Network (T4C), becoming its first ever “Overdrive Partner”.

Trucks For Change Network coordinates donated and discounted transport services through its network of member carriers, matching charity freight requests with available truck capacity. Since 2011, T4C member carriers have distributed over 12 million pounds of donated food and materials in support of charities across Canada, including Food Banks Canada, Habitat For Humanity Canada, Canadian Red Cross, and many others.

“We’ve enjoyed an amazing four year partnership with our friends at Trailer Wizards” said Pete Dalmazzi, Trucks For Change Network president and founder, adding “This new level of support will allow us to further expand our carrier network and our support of communities across Canada.”

This “Overdrive Partnership” is the highest level of sponsorship for the non-profit organization. It recognizes those whose annual financial and in-kind sponsorship are valued at $10,000 or greater. Trailer Wizards is our first and only sponsor to reach this level.

“Partnering with T4C is a natural for us” said Doug Vanderspek, Trailer Wizards President. “It allows us to directly support many of our best trucking customers across the country who are making a positive difference in the communities we all serve”.
