Transportation Summit Can Help You with Trucking Challenges

MISSISSAUGA — How should you react to the many challenges shaping the freight transportation industry?

That is just one of the many topics that will be discussed during the Surface Transportation Summit on Oct. 14 as shippers, carriers, and industry suppliers gather for a full day’s worth of presentations, workshops, keynote addresses, networking and panel discussions.

This year’s event at the Mississauga Convention Centre will feature a lineup of over 30 speakers, including some of the leading minds in the industry, according to organizers.

Subjects will range from the state of the economy, the future of retail distribution in Canada, how to buy a trucking company and shipper and carrier scorecards to whether outsourcing to a third-party logistics provider is the right strategy for your business.

This year executives from six different sectors of the freight transportation business will share their insights on where they see the industry going in 2016.

Also for the first time, the summit will include a special private business-matching track specifically tailored for shipper-carrier and vendor-carrier networking.

You can register early to take advantage of the discounted rate.
