Trison Gets Extra Space to Build Tarps

BRANTFORD, ONBrantford-based Trison Tarps Inc. have moved to a newer and bigger facility, located at 33 Kippax Court and are inviting suppliers and customers to tour their new place at the open house on May 21.

Trison is a family-owned and managed tarp installation, repair and delivery service. They make all their tarps in-house out of their facility, which has now been expanded to 48,000 sq. ft. and features seven drive-thru bays and a 2,500 sq. ft. showroom.

“We are not a large company and I like the one-to-one contact with people we have here. I like to personally welcome truckers to our shop whenever I can,” says Paul Vandenberg, who founded the company in 2005.

Trison, named after Vandenberg’s three sons who also work in the business, first operated out of an 8,500 sq. ft. facility with two service bays, but soon outgrew it.

In 2011, they expanded to an 18,000 sq. ft. facility and in 2012, the company purchased 14 acres of land and began construction for the new facility at 33 Kippax Court.
