Truck Training School Group Planning First Conference

HAMILTON, ON – The Truck Training Schools Association of Ontario (TTSAO) is kicking off its first conference with the theme of “Striving for Excellence in Training.”

The event, which it plans to hold on an annual basis, is set for Feb. 23 and 24 at the Sandman Hotel in Mississauga.

“We are very excited to host our first conference and the planning committee has been working extremely hard to ensure there is an exciting lineup of industry professional who will make this a don’t miss event,” said Yvette Lagrois, TTSAO president.

Heading the lineup of leaders in the trucking industry is Dan Einwechter, chairman, CEO and founder of Challenger Motor Freight, a $300 million a year trucking company. He will share some of his business insights along with opinions and comments about the trucking industry and its future.

The two-day conference will be built around TTSAO’s annual membership meeting.

On Feb. 23 the group will hold its board of directors meeting followed by a general meeting an evening cocktail reception.

The next day will include a full agenda of industry experts and professional discussing key issues within the truck training school business.

“It is the conference committee’s goal to make the conference affordable, educational and enjoyable. We want people to leave the conference so impressed that the first thing they do is mark it in their calendar for next year,” Lagrois said.
