With its unmistakable long nose and gently sloped hood, the stylish Peterbilt truck is a favourite of the long-haul owner-operator. Highway models like the 378 and 379 -- and now the aerodynamic model 387 -- are also popular with fleets hoping to attract more experienced, more professional truck drivers.

Peterbilt manufactures trucks for a variety of other operations, including bulk, heavy hauling, construction, refuse, utility, delivery, beverage, emergency, logging, oilfield, and agriculture. Its products span class-6 through -8, ensuring the nameplate will be present in almost any trucking environment.

Peterbilt is a division of PACCAR, which also builds trucks under the Kenworth, DAF and Foden nameplates, and provides financial services and distributes truck parts.
