Volvo Names Howlett New Regional VP for Canada

GREENSBORO, N.C.—Greig Howlett, a heavy-truck industry veteran with some 30 years under his belt, has been named Regional Vice President for Canada by Volvo Trucks North America.

Howlett is succeeding Brent Weary, who will be retiring after more than 17 years with the company.

Howlett will oversee commercial sales and marketing operations.

 “Greig has a strong record of success in a variety of management positions within the heavy-duty trucking industry and I’m pleased to welcome him to this new role,” said Göran Nyberg, president, Volvo Trucks North American Sales & Marketing.

Howlett has held a variety of sales and managerial roles in Canada, the U.S.

Weary has led Volvo Trucks’ Canada region since 2003.
