Volvo Starts Premium Certified Program for Used Trucks

PORTLAND, OR — Looking to buy a used truck?

Volvo has introduced the Volvo Premium Certified truck program, which inspects and re-conditions used Volvo trucks for resale. Volvo also has a searchable database for available pre-owned Volvo models in the U.S. and Canada.

Customers can search by model, year, mileage, price range and Premium Certified status and by clicking on a result, customers will be directed to the dealer’s website.

What’s Premium Certification?

To be designated as a Premium Certified Volvo, the truck must:

  • Be a late-model, low-mileage truck;
  •  Pass a 150-point inspection and recognition process by Volvo;
  • Have passed a Federal Department of Transportation safety criteria;
  • Be covered by a six-month or 60,000-mile Generation 2 engine warranty, including turbo and injectors.

    Volvo will also offer extended warranties and breakdown assistance.
