Weather Causes Marine Atlantic to Cancel Ferry Departures

ST. JOHN’S, NL — High winds have forced Marine Atlantic to cancel four ferry departures today and Saturday, delaying commercial shipments along with passengers.

According to an advisory issued Friday morning they are:

North Sydney to Port aux Basques Friday, October 09, 2015 at 2345 (11:45 p.m.)

Port aux Basques to North Sydney Friday, October 09, 2015 at 2345 (11:45 p.m.)

North Sydney to Port aux Basques Saturday, October 10, 2015 at 1145 (11:45 a.m.)

Port aux Basques to North Sydney Saturday, October 10, 2015 at 1145 (11:45 a.m.)

Marine Atlantic says affected passengers will be notified of their rescheduled departure times.
