Webb Wheel Products OEM Business Gets New President

TELL CITY, IN – The truck and trailer wheel end component manufacturer Webb Wheel Products Inc. has named a new leader for its OEM business.

Mike Postma has been named president following the promotion of Chad Plank to pursue what the company said is “targeted strategic growth opportunities for Marmon Highway Technologies.” Plank was appointed to the role in May 2013.

Webb Wheel is a member of Marmon Highway Technologies’ (MHT) Brake and Wheel Ends business.

In his new role, Postma and his team will focus on growing the company’s trailer OEM business, according to company. Additional capacity will soon be completed at the company’s Tell City, IN manufacturing facility increasing volume which will support the planned future growth. 

Postma joined MHT in 2006 as assistant controller before becoming group controller for Marmon-Herrington and SISU Axles based in Louisville, KY.

In 2012 he was appointed president of Marmon-Herrington’s aftermarket business unit.

Postma graduated with a BA in accounting from Hope College and earned his MBA in managerial finance from DePaul University’s Kellstadt Graduate School of Business.
