DAYTONA BEACH, FL – Mack Trucks has signed a multi-year national partnership with NASCAR to become the racing circuit’s official hauler.
Logging some 450,000 miles per year, NASCAR transports equipment and technology essential for facilitating its popular racing events. Mack is providing custom-designed Pinnaclehigh-rise sleeper models that specifically meet NASCAR’s needs.
“The Mack Trucks brand has been a part of American culture for more than a century and is globally recognized for manufacturing a best-in-class product,” said Steve Phelps, NASCAR executive vice president and chief marketing officer. “The custom-designed Pinnacle models are masterfully engineered and we are proud that they will lead the NASCAR convoy to the track each race weekend.”
Each of the trucks is equipped with a 505-horsepower, 13-liter Mack MP8engine, the productivity-boosting MackmDRIVEautomated manual transmission and Mack’s GuardDogConnect telematics system.
