MISSISSAUGA, ON – Canadian shippers saw the cost of ground transportation drop by 1% in October when compared to September, according to the Canadian General Freight Index compiled by Nulogx.

Total freight costs were 1.7% higher in May 2017 over the same time last year. The Base Rate Index, which excludes the impact of accessorial charges assessed by carriers, increased by 0.3% in May 2017 over April’s results, as well.
