Fuel efficiency is said to be 8 percent better than the current Evolution model and a whopping 13 percent better than the base-model Cascadia. But engineers didn’t stop there.
Paccar is the latest OEM to claim its own proprietary integrated powertrain. For Paccar, it began with the MX-11 and MX-13 engines in 2010. Last October, the company announced a proprietary drive axle, the 40,000-lb Paccar Tandem Drive Axle.
