The Top 100: Ranking Canada’s largest for-hire fleets
Posted: March 2, 2018
Today’s Trucking’s Top 100 rankings are based on supplied equipment counts.
TORONTO, Ont. – The Today’s Trucking Top 100 has become the definitive ranking of for-hire fleet sizes in Canada, offering insights into those who are adding or retracting available capacity. And the 2018 edition has been released.
Rankings are based on a sum of supplied truck, tractor, and trailer counts (shown at the bottom of each listing).
* Statistics unavailable for 2018 survey. Counts from 2017.
Companies have been ranked based on a total of vehicle counts, including straight trucks, tractors, and trailers, as reported to Today’s Trucking editorial teams. Vehicles and employees based in the United States can be included if they are administered from a Canadian head office. Top 100 data is compiled from fleet representatives by telephone or email. The statistics are not independently verified.
Selected fleets have been excluded from the list if they ask to be omitted, or do not respond to repeated requests for data.
